Dress Up, Live Now
Artists are notorious for telling wild and exciting tales — but so are fishermen! If you like wild and exciting, but don't necessarily want to hear a long-winded tale about someone's "Big One," join us for the next PechaKucha 20x20 night at Dargan's Irish Pub and Restaurant on Wednesday, April 19th at 7 p.m. Not familiar with PechaKucha? It's pronounced, "Puh-cha-Kuh-cha," and even a simple, ordinary story can be inspire when told in its time-tested framework. Presenters are only allowed to show 20 slides — no going back and forth by the way — and speak for 20 seconds per slide. The peculiar format originated in Tokyo in 2003 and is now a fixture in over 900 cities worldwide. PechaKucha Nights are low-key community gatherings where creative people get together to share their ideas, passions, musings, performances . . . just about anything, really! So join us for a fun, free and inspirational night and get in touch (link) if you'd like to present at PechaKucha. We'd love to hear your story too!
