what if we came in had someone instruct us in sky writing school.
that would be sweet. How about twisted skywriting?
My roommate is taking flying lessons, I'll see if she can find out about sky writers to do a presentation.
Very cool, do you know anyone who has one, or is doing robotic research? Reminds me of Disney animatronics.
I really think we should find a professional milliner and learn how to make hats. Im talking about dangerous hats, hats that fit, hats that are designed for the height of the fishboner who creates their piece. Im talking about carving the wood head shape for felt or straw ,tin foil, or feathers to be steamed or whatever magic they do without the use of a glue gun. ... I guess you could find that in LA and I could find it here in Florence, Paris, or London. Or the internet.

Another one is the outrageous wig does not have to come from the garmet district and China. What if we had the armatures from our hatmaking experiences on which to create the appropriate wig for the innappropriate occasion. Standing in line at the DMV, not just a party. High maintenance projects I believe but Im enthusiastic about it and sick of the same white or purple bob. Anyone else?
That would be totally cool. There's got to be someone in SB who has those skills. Not sure how to find them..maybe the SB Opera might have hired someone like this.
Yeah, great idea. Fabrics etc. Im stocking up on some gorgeous fabrics in Venice. Ive not seen anywhere else for the occasional vest, bustier or scarf.I wonder what one would use for a hat, but a fucking Hat hat, felt, shaved animal(roadkill dunce caps) The skunk roadkill duncecamp with porcupine chinstrap.woven candy wrappers? Broken glasspolyurenthaned (sue me) glass fez+ Aluminum foil? Tree branches? CACtus. A saguaro sombrero(plus its a felony) lets make that a priority.

Why does no one wear a crown? A selfmade crown? Proportionally elegant and appropriate. You could have your beach crown your city crown, a collapsable crown, the everyday and of course the special occsion crown.
Love the crown. This wold make a very cool hands-on Event Lab. Making crowns (especially good for spring.) Be your own myth, why the fuck not? Did you see my Dark Garden Corsets video on the Fashion cell page?

Mission and Purpose

Fishbon’s Purpose:
Fishbon's purpose is to provide a forum, education and support for creative collaboration, mentorship and the visceral experience of visual, aural and performance-based art.  It is also to provide exhibition media for the artists and their art forms.

Fishbon’s Mission:
Fishbon's mission is to encourage collaboration between artists, technologists, writers, designers, performers and participants to create unique, real-time, compelling aesthetic experiences that speak to contemporary audiences.  Fishbon believes the synergy (sharings of perspectives and skills) made possible in a collaborative space creates a unique and special context for art.  By providing context, physical infrastructure, tools, mentoring support and encouragement for creative collaboration, Fishbon is an experiential incubator for emerging cooperative working models.  Much more about the process experience than final product, Fishbon creates a diverse "interactive" learning community that would be difficult to achieve in isolated individual working environments.

Fishbon is a 501 (c) (3) arts organization

Anyone interested in creating or reviving and art car this year? 6 Replies

I havent experienced the bar car, but is that an option? Is my trailer around still? If we are going to Burning man, seems silly to step down from the glories of transporation to a bike. Maybe we could pimp out the coffin car,(is it up on the hill?)…Continue
