My best skills are around the areas of listening, thinking, brainstorming, instigating, collaborating, mediating, networking, translating, occasional rabble-rousing, and sometimes intuitive reasoning/counseling/advising.
For the astrologically inclined I am a true double Gemini (with Libra moon if you are that into it). For the astrologically unaware that means I'm at least a little bit into pretty much anything and everything, and usually a little too in my head (if not yours).
My day job is working as a paralegal/office mgr/personal assistant. My 2nd job is massage specializing in what I would call intuitive flowing deep tissue
work. My main hobby is spinning fire - mostly with single and double staves of various sizes. Other primary interests- relationships, spirituality, art, communication, politics, technology, religion, cultures, ethnicities & mythologies...
What skills can you teach?
I like to teach introductory skills at the things I know
ie~ beginner staff, double staff & poi (for fire and LED tool spinning), origami, listening/non-violent communication/mediation, critical/independent thinking, cultural/spiritual/diversity awareness&appreciation...
Anything beyond the introduction I usually prefer to be more of a collaborative exploration rather than a hierarchical teaching.
I generally prefer to be a part of a collaborative team rather than being the ringleader or in the spotlight. This doesn't mean that I can't lead, just that I prefer assisting a good leader and believe that is a better use of more of my skills.
Fishbon's purpose is to provide a forum, education and support for creative collaboration, mentorship and the visceral experience of visual, aural and performance-based art. It is also to provide exhibition media for the artists and their art forms.
Fishbon's mission is to encourage collaboration between artists, technologists, writers, designers, performers and participants to create unique, real-time, compelling aesthetic experiences that speak to contemporary audiences. Fishbon believes the synergy (sharings of perspectives and skills) made possible in a collaborative space creates a unique and special context for art. By providing context, physical infrastructure, tools, mentoring support and encouragement for creative collaboration, Fishbon is an experiential incubator for emerging cooperative working models. Much more about the process experience than final product, Fishbon creates a diverse "interactive" learning community that would be difficult to achieve in isolated individual working environments.

I havent experienced the bar car, but is that an option? Is my trailer around still? If we are going to Burning man, seems silly to step down from the glories of transporation to a bike. Maybe we could pimp out the coffin car,(is it up on the hill?)…Continue
